Top Ten Tuesday: Books I Meant to Read In 2020 but Didn’t Get To

I don’t think I’m alone in saying that with everything that happened in 2020, I didn’t get to focus on my reading. If I wasn’t busy, I just wasn’t in the right mood, or I just wanted to sit and do nothing. I used to feel horrible because I had so many books I didn’t get to read last year, but now, I guess you can say I understand what happened. It was difficult for me to relax and read with everything happening.

I have more than ten books I didn’t get to, and I already know I’m missing so many titles. I don’t think I read any YA titles last year, so for 2021, I want to try reading YA again. Also, I actually already own all the five romance titles listed below, so I just have to find the time to sit and read!

Here are ten books that I didn’t get to last year:

You Had Me at Hola by Alexis Daria
Queen Move by Kennedy Ryan
Whiteout by Adriana Anders
How to Catch a Queen by Alyssa Cole
Engagement and Espionage by Penny Reid

The Cousins by Karen M McManus
Of Curses and Kisses by Sandhya Menon
The Shadows Between Us by Tricia Levenseller
These Violent Delights by Chloe Gong
A Song of Wraiths and Ruin by Roseanne A. Brown

What about you – what books didn’t you get to last year? Do we have any titles in common?

  1. Reading These Violent Delights and it’s amazing and STRESSFUL so far :’D. I’ve heard of You Had Me At Hola so much last year though, so I hope I can read it at some point ;A;

  2. I didn’t care much for These Violent Delights or The Shadow between us but You Had me at Hola was a cute and fun read.

  3. Ugh my reading was so hit and miss last year, and the year prior tbh, so there are so many books I didn’t get to in 2020. You Had Me at Hola was one of them as was The Poppy War. Hopefully, I can get through both of them this year though.
