Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Fall TBR

How is everyone doing? I hope you’re all doing okay! I was sick with a throat infection the past week, and I’ve also been extra busy with work, so I haven’t had the chance to blog much. Thankfully, I’m feeling much better in time for my birthday (!!!) tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to just relaxing, reading, and getting back to blogging – I can’t wait to share what I’ve been reading lately!

So, without further delay, here are ten books that are in my TBR this fall! And yes, they’re all Fall 2020 releases!

Famine by Laura Thalassa
This is a no-brainer, huh? I adored both Pestilence and War (I have reviews drafted – I’ll post them soon!), and I just know that I will enjoy reading Famine just as much. I always enjoy how Laura Thalassa makes me root for a horseman of the apocalypse too find love, heh. If you haven’t checked out this series yet, please do so!

Forever Wild by KA Tucker
Another no-brainer! Both The Simple Wild and Wild at Heart are favorites of mine, but they’re also very angsty. Very, vert angsty. I just want a book filled with Jonah and Calla having fun, and being happy. They deserve the world! Also, not going to lie, I would LOVE a wedding scene…

The Boy Toy by Nicola Marsh
Doesn’t this sound so good!? I always love reading romance with heroines older than me, and an age-gap romance too! The family dynamics for sure will also make this a relatable read, and I just know that Samira is an amazing heroine!

Archangel’s Sun by Nalini Singh
This is book #13 in the Guild Hunter series, and for someone who typically doesn’t like a long series, I’m still very much up to date with all the releases! This is the first book in the series that stars another archangel, and I am so excited! I remember gasping when I first read the synopsis a few months ago – Titus and the Hummingbird!?

Spoiler Alert by Olivia Dade
I live for positive fat rep in romance, and even more when we see fat heroines in covers! Isn’t that cover gorgeous!? I’m not going to lie – I initially wanted to read this because of the cover, but the blurb sounds so intriguing and unique!

How to Fail at Flirting by Denise Williams
The blurb piqued my interest – why will dating the hero destroy the heroine’s career? I have to know! This is another hyped fall romance book that I’m just sure I will enjoy!

Pride and Papercuts by Staci Hart
I somehow was not aware that this series existed, and I’m so disappointed in myself. Romance retellings of Jane Austen novels? Count me in! I’m a tiny bit more excited for this book though because I love Pride and Prejudice!

How to Catch a Queen by Alyssa Cole
Check out this part of the blurb – “By day, they lead separate lives. By night, she wears the crown, and he bows to her demands in matters of politics and passion.” How can I not want to read this!? Alyssa Cole writes the best royal romance novels, and I can’t wait to read this!

I Promise You by Ilsa Madden-Mills
Ilsa Madden Mills is one of my favorite New Adult authors because she writes college-aged heroes and heroines so well. This sounds like another standalone that I’ll enjoy reading!

In a Holidaze by Christina Lauren
Christina Lauren’s past few releases haven’t exactly been well-received, but I’m seeing so many positive reviews for this one from my favorite bloggers! I can’t wait to read this, and hopefully I enjoy this too!

There you go! Sorry for the excessive exclamation points, and the non-stop use of the word ‘fun’. What can I say – I’m really excited for all these books!

How about you? What’s in your fall TBR?

  1. Love this list! The four horsemen series is great! I loved the previous two books and I’m so excite with book #3! Nalini Singh can write 100 books and I will love all, I think that woman can’t write anything bad! Pride & Papercuts is new to me, but it screams Jane Austen, so I want!

  2. How to Fail at Flirting sounds like a whole lot of fun and who knows, I might get some tips on what not to do haha. I didn’t realise The Simple Wild was a series.

  3. So glad you’re feeling better and Happy Birthday!!! These are great picks! I am waiting on a hold from the library for Spoiler Alert. I can’t wait to read that one. And I’m for sure excited about Forever Wild! I can’t seem to get enough of Jonah and Calla!
