Let’s Chat: Books I Reread All the Time (Part 1)

I feel like I’ve spoken about this before, but I’ve never been good at blogging when something negative is going on in my life. I don’t typically write posts in advance (which I’m really regretting now) so I always end up on an unplanned hiatus. I’m still typically active on twitter, but that hasn’t been the case since around this time around. All the sick days and the anxiety have also taken a toll on my reading – I don’t think I’ve read a new release from start to finish in months, which has surprised me. What has been a game-changer though, and the one thing making me feel like ‘Hey! Things aren’t so bad after all!’, is rereading.

Instead of forcing myself to keep on reading new releases, I decided to shift and reread my favorites instead. BEST. DECISION. EVER. I discovered how much I love rereading – there’s zero pressure to write a review; I already know what’s going to happen; and most importantly, I found that rereading grounded me. I couldn’t get enough of it.

I thought it would be fun to make a list of the books that I enjoy rereading multiple times and wow, I thought of A LOT! I thought of so many titles that ‘My Favorite Rereads’ will now become a blog series! So without further delay… Here are the first five books that I can’t get enough of, mini reviews included!

Top Ten Tuesday: Mysteries, Horror, and Thrillers in my TBR

I wouldn’t say I’m a big fan of mysteries, thrillers, or horror novels – I consider myself a scaredy-cat, and I can’t stomach anything terrifying. This year though, I’ve been doing my best to diversify my reading, and when I see my favorite authors like Nalini Singh and Alyssa Cole release acclaimed thrillers… Of course I’ll check them out! Below are ten mysteries/horror/thrillers in my TBR. I haven’t read any of them so no brief descriptions from me, but they’re all pretty hyped books!

Without further ado, here they are…

Top Ten Tuesday: Books on My Fall TBR

How is everyone doing? I hope you’re all doing okay! I was sick with a throat infection the past week, and I’ve also been extra busy with work, so I haven’t had the chance to blog much. Thankfully, I’m feeling much better in time for my birthday (!!!) tomorrow, and I’m looking forward to just relaxing, reading, and getting back to blogging – I can’t wait to share what I’ve been reading lately!

So, without further delay, here are ten books that are in my TBR this fall! And yes, they’re all Fall 2020 releases!

Top Ten Tuesday: Questions I Would Ask My Favorite Author

This is a tough one! I’m so awkward when asking authors questions… even when I have questions prepared. Heh. Here’s what I’ll do – I’ll ask five general questions, and then I’ll ask five random authors a question each. If I ask one author all ten questions, I would probably be like ‘Give me all the spoilers!!!’ and that won’t do! Also, fun fact – I’ve already gotten the chance to ask my favorite author Cassandra Clare something I’ve been wondering about. If you’re curious, then yes, she knows how the Shadowhunters series will end! 😛

Alright, without further delay, here are the questions!
